...Who is Dhyan Tara?

“Everyone seeks meditation at one time or another, but under a skilled meditation therapist, the student meditator not only learns how to relax, but also experiences deep and profound meditative states that can be fully integrated into one’s creativity. Human beings are meant to live, feel and enjoy pleasures in its own flowing vitality and aliveness. Every meditation experience is a doorway to explore and expand your self-awareness and potential. I invite you to that experience.”

Dhyan Tara is a certified Active Meditation™ Facilitator from The OSHO Multiversity (Pune), as well as a Counsellor and Hypnotherapist. Dhyan's interest in meditation began during her childhood when her maternal grandfather introduced her to Zen Meditation. Meditation later became a vital aspect of her life. When she was 23, she discovered Osho Active Meditation.

After 3 years of intensive training in meditation and healing in an Osho Meditation Center, she became an Osho Meditation facilitator several years later. Dhyan's innate passion for Psychology, Bioenergetics (founded by Wilhelm Reich) and Transpersonal work provides her with the advantage of being able to understand today's men and women, and their difficulties of finding balance in the accelerated pace of contemporary life.

Dhyan's work consists of intimate one-on-one individual sessions, as well as regular meditation workshops. With a background of more than 10 years in meditation and therapy, Dhyan is an experienced counsellor and therapist and she has conducted meditation workshops for health organisations, corrective and rehabilitative agencies, hospitals, schools and social welfare groups.

She had facilitated OSHO Meditation and Stress Management Programs for drug users and ex-inmates, and was also one of the invited guest speakers at the 18th International Pharmacy Congress (Smoking Cessation Workshop) in 2007, organised by the Singapore Pharmaceutical Society. A regular speaker on meditation and emotional wellness, Dhyan has given many talks at public events such as the Wellness At Orchard Programme (National Library) and the Singapore Holistic Festival. A trained counsellor, Dhyan's approach to therapy is sensitive, humane and collaborative.

Dhyan Tara is available for private sessions and group training.
